Within an easy day's drive from the tranquility of the Mas de Rey, are the many sites of Provence basking in the southern French sun, and the beaches on the Mediterranean sea.
Avignon, 45kms away, ringed with its medieval wall, is a very animated city. There is of course the bridge made famous by the song, and the Palace of the Popes.
